About Cole

Cole is the handsome jet-black Shih Tzu with deep black eyes, the “big brother” of the duo at around 12 lbs and 6 months old. A little more reserved by nature, he likes to check in with his brother, Carter, before making a move—especially first thing in the morning.

Cole is thoughtful, steady, and playful, especially with the older dogs in the pack. He isn’t needy for constant attention, but he’s affectionate on his own terms and enjoys companionship.

Smart and quick to learn, Cole already knows basic commands, is crate and potty trained, and does well around children and large dogs (yes, even our Cane Corso Thor!). He’d thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company and guide him.

✨ Both boys are scheduled for their neuter surgeries on September 2nd. Applications are open now, and by the time the process is complete in about two weeks, they’ll be ready to go home.

These brothers are bonded and would love to be adopted together, but if not, each should have another canine companion in the home. They are bright, loving, and playful pups ready to bring joy wherever they go.
