Carter

Carter is Cole’s opposite in all the best ways—outgoing, cheerful, and absolutely obsessed with water. Whether it’s a splash in the water bowl, a puddle, or a kiddie pool, Carter dives in like a little fish in a Shih Tzu suit. His hazel eyes shimmer against his black-and-brown tinted coat, and his smile is almost constant.

Carter is affectionate to the core—he’ll run off to play, but always comes back for kisses and cuddles. He’s vocal about his needs (like when it’s potty time), loves everyone he meets, and shines as an independent trailblazer. Like Cole, Carter is crate and potty trained, has mastered the basics, and is well-socialized with kids and big dogs. He would do best in a home with other pets—or, even better, alongside his brother.
