Arlo

Arlo is an 18-pound Shih Tzu with a sweet soul, respectful nature, and zero signs of the aggression he was returned to the shelter for. In fact, since arriving at the rescue, Arlo has done nothing but prove he’s kind, calm, and well-mannered. He doesn’t mark in the house, gets along with animals, and accepts care without fuss—even a diaper on day one.
 

Returned without a real reason, Arlo’s story feels less like rejection and more like redirection. Maybe he was meant to find his person here, someone who sees through excuses and listens to what truly matters—connection, trust, and heart.
 

He’s neutered, up to date on vetting, and has already started treatment for heartworm. He’s safe now, but he won’t be here long—we can feel it. If your heart whispered “he’s mine,” go ahead and trust it. Arlo’s waiting.
