This sweet girl came to Tzus And Mews nine months ago at age three and a very rough start to life. By age one she had to have her eye removed after suffering from several infections of the cornea. By age two she had to endure emergency spay due to pyometra infection.

   We learned the first day of her rescue that she was extremely afraid of humans. She would roll over in submission and screaming bloody murder. It took several weeks for her to allow us to touch her enough to pick her up or place a harness on her to go to the vet and a walk.

  

   She was a owner surrender because the owner was tired of walking in from work to the smell and cleaning of bile (vomit) in her crate everyday. Salli suffered from acid reflux and tummy issues due to a poor diet and not eating enough throughout the day.

​

   We were more than committed to heal Salli's heart, mind and body. We knew it would take time but today this sweet angel is so loving and open receiving love. She still has somethings that will need continued work in her forever home but she has shown just how willing she is to put the past behind her forever.

   Salii is considered "Special Needs" due to her history, missing eye and pinch nerve that we have treated with acupuncture, laser and the Assisi Ring Therapy.
